Deacon Joe was ordained on May 31, 2003. He has served at Saint Peter the Apostle
Parish in Parsippany since his ordination. In addition to his service in the parish, in July
of 2024 he was named the Assistant Director of the Permanent Diaconate for the
Diocese of Paterson. Deacon Joe has been married to his wife Debbie since 1992.
They have one daughter, Jean, who is a Music Teacher. He holds a B.A., Summa Cum
Laude, in Communications from Rider University and an M.A. in Communications from
the University of Maryland. He retired as a Chief Operating Officer after a career
primarily in Health Care. Along with his liturgical ministries, Deacon Joe has
coordinated the Children’s Gospel Program and Family Mass for the parish.
